Weekly Discipleship Opportunities

Throughtout the week we offer several opportunities for you to be discipled.  We aim to have a Christ-centered discipleship option for all ages and situations.

Sunday School - 9:30am

Adults::

Our adults are all doing various studies in different portions of Scripture.  All of the classes endeavor to adhere to sound doctrine and studies that disciple the members of the class and exhort them to great joy in Christ! College Students are encouraged to join our other adults for corporate worship through song and Bible study at this time and are included in this grouping. We believe the Biblical mandate is that the older generation is to instruct the younger in matters of Godliness and find that there is rich and Biblical mutual benefit in placing our college students with our Adult classes.

Children's Department:

Curriculum:  The Gospel Project

Our children's department classess all use "The Gospel Project", a Sunday School material published by Lifeway that helps them understand the significance of the Old Testament as it related to pointing towards Christ.  As well as understand the significance of Christ's life, death, and resurrection, why that matters, and how that should radically affect their life.

Students::

Our Student Ministry meets upstairs in the Education Building on Sunday mornings where Will Cauthern is leading them through various indepth studies of the Bible.

:: Wednesday - 6:30pm

Children::

Discipleship classes for all ages begin at 6:30.  For our children this includes Mission Friends (Age 2-5), Royal Ambassadors (Boys - Age 6-12)  and Girls in Action (Age 6-12).

Students::

The students meet downstairs in the Education Building each Wednesday night for a Bible study led by Rebecca Poteet.  The topics vary but the goal is to help students remember and apply the Gospel daily in ther life.

Adults::

All our adults meet in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday nigth where the Pastor leads the congregation through a theological study of a Biblical topic.  Whereas Sunday morning and evening are preached in an expository fashion straight through a book of the Bible, Wednesday evenings are handled in a topical expository fashion (i.e Doctrine of God, Doctrine of Man, Evangelism).  After the Bible study concludes we share a time of prayer requests and praise reports and then breaking into smaller groups we lift those prayer requests up as a body. College Students are encouraged to join our other adults for corporate worship through song and Bible study at this time and are included in this grouping.
